The tour complements HKU’s undergraduate teaching agenda by providing students with an opportunity to engage in experiential learning. As future leaders, students will be encouraged to think about global problems such as recovering from natural disasters, reconstruction, and corporate social responsibility initiatives in society. Students will have opportunities to meet business executives and gain insights in to corporate life in Japan.

Date:
4-10 March 2018 (during the mid-semester Reading Week)

Highlights:
The tour begins in Miyagi where we will visit various sites to learn how Mitsubishi Corporation is helping local businesses and organisations recover seven years after the Great East Japan Earthquake. The tour will conclude in Tokyo with a visit to the Mitsubishi Corporation Head Office in Marunouchi, sightseeing activities and dinner with HKU alumni.
