Abstract of the workshop
The aim of the workshop is to enable participants to apply ICT to their own teaching in order to conduct effective classroom activities which used to be considered as difficult or impossible before the technology had become ubiquitous. In the workshop, participants are expected to seize the basic knowledge of the flipped classroom and the blended-learning, and explore examples of Japanese teaching through ICT. All are welcome but the workshop is especially useful to those who engage in Japanese language education.

Biography of Ms. Fujimoto

Her research interest lies in the utilisation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Japanese language teaching/learning as a foreign language. Although her research output is strongly associated with distance/blended-learning for Japanese language, she is interested in the subculture of Japan such as Japanese comics and animations appreciated by a number of Japanese language learners in the world.
