　本講演では初対面の日本語母語話者とコミュニケーションを行う際に、対人関係に配慮しながら、より自然な表現形式でコミュニケーションが取れるようにするために、日本語の特徴について考えたいと思います。初対面の相手と会話を行う際にどのような話題を選択すれば良いのかという内面的な特徴や、どのような言語形式を選択すればより自然な表現になるのかという表面的な特徴について考えます。

また日本語教育の現場で学習者が間違いやすい日本語の表現には、「立場」や「視点」の捉え方が母語と異なることに起因するものがあります。日本語の特徴について「立場」や「視点」という観点から捉えなおして、さらには日本語教育現場への応用を考えたいと思います。

1999年3月九州大学大学院博士後期課程修了後、志學館大学講師を経て2001年4月から筑波大学留学生センター（人文社会系）にて勤務。2018年10月から名古屋大学国際言語センター教授、現在に至る。

専門分野：日本語教育文法、日本語の文法とコミュニケーション・スタイルについて研究

Heo Myeongia received her Ph.D. from Kyushu University, Japan. She previously taught at Shigakukan University and University of Tsukuba, Japan, and is currently a Professor at Nagoya University’s International Language Center. Heo’s research focuses on Japanese language education and communication styles in Japanese. Her research interests include communication strategies of learners of Japanese language focusing on their use of Japanese and mind set in terms of the discrepancy between the grammatical correctness and the appropriateness in communication.
