Dear students,

Update on the Capstone arrangements for the Japanese Studies Major (Japan Studies Stream)

Please note that there is the following update on the capstone arrangements for the Japanese Studies Major (Japan Studies Stream).

The expected way of fulfilling the capstone requirement for graduation in the Japan Studies Stream is either

1) JAPN4101. Japanese Studies research project: Capstone experience (6 credits), offered in Semester 2 (Thursdays 16:30 to 18:20) and taught by Dr. Edwin Michielsen.

OR

2) JAPN3082. Japanese Studies internship (6 credits)

PLEASE NOTE: If you fulfill your capstone requirement through JAPN4101, please make sure to enroll in Semester 2. No preparations for this course will be necessary, but it will be helpful for you to reflect on your preferred capstone (research paper) topic prior to taking this course.
