Time: 12:45-13:30

Ms. Mari TAKADA (高田真里)

A new bilateral working holiday scheme between Japan and Hong Kong was launched on January 1, 2010. Under the scheme, young people aged between 18 and 30 who intend primarily to holiday in Japan for a period of not more than one year may take up employment during their holiday in order to supplement their finances. The scheme is aimed at HKSAR residents who are holders of a valid HKSAR/BNO passport. The second and final application period for this year will run from 4 to 13 May, 2010.

If you are interested in finding out more about this new scheme, including eligibility criteria and application procedures, don’t miss this orientation session held in association with the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong and with the support of the Faculty of Arts. The orientation session will be followed by a Q&A.
